Walking into a forest of ancient old oak trees, you see moss on the ground. The moss winds and turns as if nature was calling you onto a path. Does curiosity tempt you? You find yourself looking about to be sure no one is following you. A smell of nature fills your senses. This path gives you a feeling that removing your shoes might be a good idea. With gentle steps, you follow the path to a huge oak on a hill. Carvings that absolutely stun you surround the doorway made in this grand oak tree. A pleasant, if somewhat gruff, old voice singing a strange song in another language lands on your ears. Do you dare enter? With a deep breath, you take one more step forward and torches flare. The singing stops and you can hear footsteps coming toward you. Out of the shadows walks a burly old Dwarf. He smiles at you behind his long gray beard. With a green twinkle in his eye he says, “I have been waiting for you.” He knocks on the old tree and down falls a wand from the top of the tree and he catches it swiftly. “The wand of Dair is now for you to wield." As you reach and grasp it a bright light shines and you’re blinded for a moment. The Dwarf is gone and the tree is no longer a home…It is just an old oak on a hill.

All sculptures are made with genuine love and passion.
Some are made with lots of thought and sketches. Others I just go with the flow and allow myself to just zone into the material and see what comes out. I use professional materials to sculpt each one. They can take any where from one hour to four or more for really detailed ones. Once created I then bake them. Then its time for Painting! This too can take several hours and layers. I use a base coat and a top coat at the end to ensure it stays fresh and lovely. Once it is ready to depart my hand and fall sweetly into yours I pack it up. I will include tissue paper and ribbon. I also with most wands add a certificate for you to enjoy.
I have made them for all kinds of reasons. I love that my clients can come to me for something special that comes from their heart. It could be for a birthday, wedding, baby shower, parting gift, or almost anything you can imagine. These pieces and all of my art is meant to be a journey of expression and delightful team work.
