Tesoro Buscador

$120.00

Far beyond any journey a map alone could reveal to you is a place that holds a secret. This place of secrecy has never been seen, but its many tales have traveled wide, over many lands and across many seas. Without knowing these stories, you may never find it.

There is a reason you know of this mysterious secret. You alone have found a piece to this mystery. You have a silver chain that you never take off. It is a family legend that Black Beard had owned such a silver necklace. After Black Beard was said to have landed on the Island of Skull Volcano, he lost the pendant from his chain. Somehow, your chain was inherited many decades ago by one of your ancestors along with the tales of the secret place, and now you wear that very chain.

You have come to this uncharted island in search of the secret place. As you pull into shore, you spot a beech tree that is burnt from the war of pirates, who battled one another to find the map, said to be on this very beach. The map was never found.

Now wondering if this really is Skull Island, you spy a volcano in the distance. This could be dangerous! But the volcano could be an indication that you have found the right place!

As you stand on the beach, you notice the tree is blackened from all the fires, except for one small spot. Walking over, you touch it, and the tree begins to vibrate. You start to peel the bark away from the tree…on the back of the bark is a map! This is the second piece to the puzzle!

As you scan the bark map, a strange anchor symbol appears at the top of the volcano which is depicted there. You bravely climb the mountain leading to the hot inside of the volcano. You look around and see a limb hanging over the lava pit. A sparkle reflects from the limb, and squinting, you see the pendant is dangling on the limb! Pulling out a special sliver magnet you made yourself, you hope it will work. It does! This anchor is the key to something that must come next!

It has also been said that in order to find the treasure, you must find the golden porthole that leads to the sky. This, by far, might have been the hardest riddle. The map has a clouded area in the far corner, so that is where you head. With this you end up deep in the black-sanded desert. The sand is fine and glistens in the hot sun.

Following the marks on the map you reach a point where there is nothing. Kicking around in the sand you happen to hear a hollow sound. Digging quickly underneath the strange black sand, you discover a round wooden door. A silver lock in the shape of an anchor sits in the center of the door. The necklace is a key! Opening the door slowly, to your astonishment, you find the golden porthole framing a blue, clouded sky moving there below.

The sky above doesn’t match the sky you see below in this strange misplaced porthole. That sky seems to ripple softly. Reaching for it, as if you are called to touch it, it

becomes liquid as your hand goes right through it! You feel something and grab it carefully. Out comes an amazing pirate wand! Tesoro Buscador!

This kind of answer to the legend was not what you expected. Here in your hand you hold the wand that was carried by only two other known pirates. The wand is a tool to find the most valuable and rare treasures of the world. Will you except this wand? What will you seek? The beginning to the highest power of treasure is yours! Beware of greed with this special tool…It can consume you!

All sculptures are made with genuine love and passion.

Some are made with lots of thought and sketches. Others I just go with the flow and allow myself to just zone into the material and see what comes out. I use professional materials to sculpt each one. They can take any where from one hour to four or more for really detailed ones. Once created I then bake them. Then its time for Painting! This too can take several hours and layers. I use a base coat and a top coat at the end to ensure it stays fresh and lovely. Once it is ready to depart my hand and fall sweetly into yours I pack it up. I will include tissue paper and ribbon. I also with most wands add a certificate for you to enjoy.

I have made them for all kinds of reasons. I love that my clients can come to me for something special that comes from their heart. It could be for a birthday, wedding, baby shower, parting gift, or almost anything you can imagine. These pieces and all of my art is meant to be a journey of expression and delightful team work.
