Deep down in a cluster of coral you see a purple tentacle that seems to be beaconing you. As the waves splash in a calming rhythm at your feet you think about what this could mean. The imagination running away with each lap of water. Your stare becomes a trance as you watch this strange tentacle moving about. Finally you reach down and poke it softly. It stiffens and you pull back quickly. Off into the distance you swear you saw a fin or tail of some kind. Once you look back down the tentacle is now hard and seems to be holding something. As you lift it from the coral you realize it is a wand! The wand Zoa is born from the mediative trance the ocean brought to you. Here in your hand now is a wand of great power and wields the pull of the tides. What will you do with this gift from the sea?
All sculptures are made with genuine love and passion.
Some are made with lots of thought and sketches. Others I just go with the flow and allow myself to just zone into the material and see what comes out. I use professional materials to sculpt each one. They can take any where from one hour to four or more for really detailed ones. Once created I then bake them. Then its time for Painting! This too can take several hours and layers. I use a base coat and a top coat at the end to ensure it stays fresh and lovely. Once it is ready to depart my hand and fall sweetly into yours I pack it up. I will include tissue paper and ribbon. I also with most wands add a certificate for you to enjoy.
I have made them for all kinds of reasons. I love that my clients can come to me for something special that comes from their heart. It could be for a birthday, wedding, baby shower, parting gift, or almost anything you can imagine. These pieces and all of my art is meant to be a journey of expression and delightful team work.
