Wishy Seedling
Wishy Seedling
A spring day filled with the bluest sky and fluffy clouds. Grass long and green waving hello as it moves in the crisp breeze of the day. It smells of honeysuckle and fresh berries. Here in a quaint spot surrounded by the beauty that Mother Nature herself has made. You sit on the edge of a smooth white rock. Feet dangling in a gentle swaying motion. Your toes ever so slightly grazing the top of the little brook that flows through the grassy meadow. Little fish darting through the brook, some stop to kiss your toes. With a smile on your face you see something dancing in the wind. A tiny fluff floating along like a fairy's lost umbrella. It’s a single seed from the top of a wishing flower or as some may call it a dandelion. You watch it as it gracefully falls onto the surface of the water. Traveling down the stream quickly and disappearing into the distance. You then notice, further down, another smooth white rock in the middle of the brook stream. On top of the rock grows one single wishing flower. Curiosity strikes you deeply. Hopping from rock to rock you make it to the larger one. Growing inside the crack of this rock is one single wishing flower. Reaching down, you pluck it from the rock. As a child, you loved to make wishes on all the flowers you could find. The flower surges with energy, It is time to wish. Holding it you close your eyes and a dream comes to you. To be a part of the wind, to be the giver of wishes, and live beyond human years. Opening your eyes you see the flower has turned into a wand. The Wishy Seedling wand connects you to Mother Nature.
The power to dissolve into the wind, grant wishes, and now your life everlasting.
Welcome wind wisher.
All sculptures are made with genuine love and passion.
Some are made with lots of thought and sketches. Others I just go with the flow and allow myself to just zone into the material and see what comes out. I use professional materials to sculpt each one. They can take any where from one hour to four or more for really detailed ones. Once created I then bake them. Then its time for Painting! This too can take several hours and layers. I use a base coat and a top coat at the end to ensure it stays fresh and lovely. Once it is ready to depart my hand and fall sweetly into yours I pack it up. I will include tissue paper and ribbon. I also with most wands add a certificate for you to enjoy.
I have made them for all kinds of reasons. I love that my clients can come to me for something special that comes from their heart. It could be for a birthday, wedding, baby shower, parting gift, or almost anything you can imagine. These pieces and all of my art is meant to be a journey of expression and delightful team work.
